WHAT WE BELIEVE
- The Bible (Both Old and New Testaments) is God’s Word to humankind. It is the only guide and direction on how we are to live out our lives on this earth (Numbers 12:6-8; Isaiah 8:20; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 3:16-17).
- There is only one true God (The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob). He is revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things, both visible and invisible (Genesis 1:1; John 10:30, 14:26; Philippians 2:5-7; Isaiah 42:5; Colossians 1:16).
- God is Love, and He loves all He made in His image. He proved it by sending His Son to die for your sins and your whole well-being (1 John 4:16; Psalm 68:5-6).
- Jesus Christ is the promised Messiah and Redeemer. He is the only provision God made for reconciliation between Himself and humankind, which was done by Jesus' sacrifice on the Cross.
- All who repent of their sins and believe that Jesus Christ went to the Cross and died to remove their sins are born again and become a child of God. Jesus Christ not only died for your sins but also died for your whole well-being including your healing (Ephesians 2:8-9; Isaiah 53:1-12; Romans 3:24, 5:1).
- Baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire is a free gift from God to all who believe and ask for it (Matthew 3:11; John 14:16-17; Acts 2:4, 2:38-39, 19:1-7).
- Sanctification is the ongoing process of allowing God's character to be developed in us (Romans 6:19; Galatians 5:22-25).
- Hell is a real place, and all who repent with a godly sorrow and believe that Jesus Christ died for their sins will avoid this place. God's desire is that no one go to this place (Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 20:13-17; John 3:16-18).
- Jesus will return to earth someday and set up His Kingdom.
